Custom font and graphic concept for the publication 'Fragment Found'.
Established in October 2021, Fragment Found is an ever-growing online archive of printed pottery sherds from around the world. The website invites the public to submit their finds and the stories and information attached to them. Fragment Found is a digital museum of lost, broken, unwanted and discarded artefacts, rediscovered centuries later in fields, on beaches, in rivers, construction sites (and many more obscure locations). The creation of this book brings the contents of the website back into the analog world, making it something you can hold in your hands again.
The editorial content interrupts the fragments. The book contains two colours that are used to highlight the editorial part of the publication and to distinguish it from the fragmentary pages (e.g., with a coloured cut).
