The DAE Graduation Catalogue 2021 serves as a guide to navigate the graduation projects through
themes, keywords, materials, and methodologies. Each word represents a connection to a larger
context, just as the projects symbolize the design field, current times, and potential futures. The
catalogue is divided into four indexes: the main Index, with over 500 index words and subcategories,
offers references for readers to explore potential connections between projects. This Index includes
an alphabetical listing of all student names and project titles.
The visual index, arranged by departments, provides a visual representation of the projects. The
word frequency index lists all the words used in the project texts, revealing the prominent themes
and concepts. Lastly, the project index organizes the projects alphabetically by student
name.
To showcase each project in the best possible way, a fluent layout was created for the project pages
while maintaining the main structure of the catalogue. Additional footage was requested from
students to be used alongside the photo-shoot images. The Graduation Catalogue 2021 is not just a
mere navigational tool, but also an invitation to discover the innovative ideas, techniques, and
visions of the next generation of designers.
